Owen D. Jones on Overcoming Neurohype

Owen D. Jones is a fairly prominent figure in the field of ‘neurolaw’  – although I suspect he doesn’t like the pop-academic terminology. In this introductory lecture to the Vanderbilt Judicial Colloquium on Law and Neuroscience, he provides a cautious endorsement of neurolaw research, with an appropriate disclaimer that we don’t know nearly enough about the brain to use neuroscience effectively in the court room.
